Scholarship Description
The Eiffel Scholarship bolsters recruiting of top foreign and international students by French schools of higher education at a time when competition for such students is growing among developed countries.

HEC reserves the right to submit only those candidates it feels best qualified for the Eiffel Scholarship as the award is particularly competitive and prestigious.

Note that applications from students currently studying outside France will be given priority over those from students already studying in France.

HEC MBA Eiffel Scholarships

Eligibility
Only admitted students can apply to this scholarship.

In order to be eligible the candidate must:
  • Be aged 30 years old or less in the selection year
  • Have a single nationality from a developing country deemed an ‘emerging country’ by the French state department, especially those in Asia and Latin America, for example, currently under-represented among the student population in France.

Scholarship benefits
The Eiffel Scholarship provides participants with a monthly allowance of €1,181, and covers additional expenses including travel, health insurance and cultural activities.

Tuition fees are not covered by the scholarship.

Method of Application
Only candidates who have been admitted can apply for this scholarship.

Candidates wishing to apply for the Eiffel Scholarship must first apply online to the MBA course by filling in the HEC MBA online application form. This is inclusive of submitting an essay, and a personal financial statement.

Personal Financial Statement:
Applicants must submit a detailed description of their financial circumstances as well as a cash-flow forecast for the 16-month stay duration at HEC.

DEADLINES:
The application deadline for the HEC MBA course is on a rolling basis throughout the year.

For the Full-time and Part-time January 2015 MBA course, application deadlines are 15th August 2014, 15th September 2014, 15th October 2014 and 15th November 2014.

For the Full-time September 2015 MBA course, course application deadlines are the 15th of each month from August 2014 till July 2015 (i.e. 15th August 2014, 15th September 2014,....15th May 2015, 15th June 2015, 15th July 2015).

The deadline for application to the Eiffel scholarship is within 1 week of your admission

PLEASE NOTE:
Decision dates for those admitted before 27th December 2013 is 27th March 2014. And that for those admitted after 27th December 2013 is March 2015.

The Eiffel Scholarship was first launched in January 1999 by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Ministère des Affaires Etrangères).
