Scholarship Description
The Università Bocconi offers scholarships to international students enrolling in any Bachelor’s Program or Master of Science Program at Bocconi.

Students who meet all of the requirements are totally exempt from the payment of University Taxes and Fees.

The awarding of the Bocconi Scholarships for International Students is based on students' family economic condition, and also takes into consideration academic performances of the students.

Eligibility
To apply, students must be enrolled, or will be enrolled in the current academic year at Università Bocconi.

Only applicants for the first year of a Bocconi Bachelor’s or Master’s program who meet all the following conditions will be taken into consideration for the awarding of the scholarship:
  • non-Italian citizenship;
  • non-Italian residence;
  • a non-Italian Undergraduate degree earned abroad or in Italy.
Students who meet any of the following conditions will NOT be taken into consideration:
  • previously enrolled in a graduate program in Italy or abroad;
  • recipient of a scholarship awarded for the AY 2015-15 by private or public institutions.
  • students enrolled in the second year or subsequent years “fuori corso”, after a regular study period are not eligible.
Eligible groups
Citizens of ALL countries (i.e. all international students of any nationality can apply). This includes students from other EU countries, and students from all other countries.

All undergraduate level and postgraduate level programs offered at the university are eligible

Number of awards
60 scholarships will be offered: 30 are for the Bachelor’s Program and 30 are for the Master’s Program (80 awards were given out last year).

Sponsorship duration
For the Bachelors Program, a maximum of 3 academic years and for the Master’s of Science Program, a maximum of 2 academic years.

Please note that the renewal of the scholarships for subsequent years are subject to meeting merit criteria.

Scholarship benefits
For Bachelor’s Program, the scholarship consists of a full tuition waiver worth up to € 11,500.00 per year while for Master’s of Science Program, the scholarship consists of full tuition waiver worth up to € 12,000.00 per year.

Method of Application
Applicants must complete and submit the online Bocconi Scholarship online application form.

Scholarship applications must be submitted by the same deadline as that of the Bocconi online study admission’s application which is administered in multiple rounds.

DEADLINES:
The specific deadlines can be found in the scholarship guidelines (see links below); however, they generally fall between January to May of each year.

For the 2015/2016 academic session, the undergraduate online study application deadlines for the three Application Rounds (Know Your Talent, Winter and Spring) are 14th May 2014, 15th January 2015 and 19th March 2015. The respective online scholarship application deadlines for the 3 Rounds are all at 3PM of 10th November 2014, 15th January 2015 and 19th March 2015 respectively.

For the 2015/2016 academic session, the postgraduate online study application deadlines for Rounds 1 to 5 are as follows: 12th December 2014, 20th January 2015, 20th February 2015, 20th March 2015 and 28th April 2015. The respective online scholarship application deadlines for Rounds 1 to 5 are all at 3PM of the postgraduate study application deadline dates listed above respectively.
