Scholarship Description
The Uppsala University offers scholarships to first year applicants to Uppsala University’s Master Programmes in Autumn 2014 through various scholarships including the Uppsala University IPK scholarships.
The Uppsala University scholarships are available for students who are required to pay tuition fees.
Eligibility
The Uppsala University IPK scholarships are available to applicants who are citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland except Bangladesh, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
Selection criteria:
All scholarships are primarily merit based and targeted to academically talented students with an interest in belonging to an international educational milieu. Financial needs does not factor into the awarding of the scholarships.

Scholarship benefits
All scholarships cover exclusively the tuition fee for Master programmes offered in the January admission round for autumn 2014. Students are required to cover their entire living expenses by their own means.
The value of the scholarship will be deducted from the tuition fee and not paid directly to the student.

Scholarship applications for students commencing their studies autumn 2014 are accepted between 17 October 2013 and 15 January 2014.

The application deadline for scholarships is Wednesday 15th January 2014. Late applications are not accepted.
PLEASE NOTE:
To be awarded Uppsala University's IPK scholarships, applicants must demonstrate academic talent and show interest in belonging to an educational milieu. Scholarships will cover the cost of tuition for Master's programmes offered during the current admission round and commencing 1st September 2014.
Please note that the IPK scholarships cannot be applied for by students who are citizens of the countries that are eligible for the Swedish Institute's Scholarship Category 1 (see the list on the official website via link below).
