Scholarship Description
Within the scope of the TU Delft Excellence Scholarships, the Delft University of Technology offers the following full scholarships - Justus & Louise Van Effen Scholarships, Delft Research Initiative (DRI) Scholarships, AND TU Delft institutes scholarships.
The Foundation Justus & Louise van Effen, established with the aim of stimulating excellent international MSc students wishing to study at TU Delft, financially supports these excellent students through the Justus & Louise van Effen scholarship.
Eligibility
You must be an excellent international student admitted to any one of TU Delft’s MSc programmes.

Number of awards
In total, sixteen (16) scholarships are awarded - 2 scholarships are awarded per faculty

This is a FULL scholarship covering the whole duration of your course
Scholarship benefits
Full scholarship – coverage of tuition fees and monthly allowance for living expenses
Method of Application
To be considered for these scholarships, your complete (hard copy) application for an MSc programme must be received by TU Delft International Office before the deadline date of the preceding year. See 'DEADLINES' below for this date.
All students meeting this deadline who have been (conditionally) admitted to one of the MSc programmes of TU Delft will be considered for these scholarships. There is no separate application procedure for these scholarships.
Applications for admissions for 2015-2017 will open by September 2014.

All required documentation must be received by the university before 1 November of the preceding year.

As there is no separate application procedure for these scholarships, you cannot apply yourself.
Students who have been granted a scholarship will be informed by TU Delft per email by mid March. Only those students who have been selected will be contacted regarding this scholarship.
The Justus & Louise Van Effen Scholarships is financed by the legacy of Justus and Louise van Effen. Mr. van Effen studied at TU Delft in the 1940’s and strongly believed technological developments contribute to solving society’s issues.
